Return and Refund Policy

We want you to love your furniture. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return process.

30-Day Return Window

You may return most items within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund. Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

• In their original condition — unused and without damage caused after delivery
• In the original packaging where possible, or securely repacked to prevent shipping damage
• All components included — hardware, cushions, and accessories that came with the item must be present

Items that have been assembled and used are eligible for return if they are in resalable condition and returned within the 30-day window. Heavily used, damaged, or modified items are not eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Items damaged after delivery due to customer misuse or modification
• Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
• Custom or made-to-order items (if applicable, this will be noted in the product description)

How to Initiate a Return

1. Email us at reachus@homefurnitureandcarpet.com with your order number and the reason for your return
2. Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with return instructions and a prepaid return shipping label (for eligible returns)
3. Securely pack the item and affix the return label
4. Drop off the package at the designated carrier location

Return Shipping Costs

For standard returns (change of mind, not the right fit), we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Return shipping for large furniture items may require freight pickup scheduling, which we will coordinate.

If the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we cover all return shipping costs and process a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your card issuer or bank, the credit may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear on your statement.

You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different product, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order for the replacement.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number
• Photos of the damage or defect

We will arrange a free replacement or full refund at our expense. Do not discard damaged packaging until instructed — it may be needed for the carrier claim.

Restocking Fees

Home Furniture & Carpet does not charge any restocking fees. If you return an item within our 30-day window in its original condition and packaging, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price with no deductions. We believe in a simple, honest returns process.
