We offer free standard shipping on all orders within the continental United States. There is no minimum purchase requirement and no hidden fees. The price you see is the price you pay.
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays). You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day.
Delivery Times
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days after processing
- Large Furniture (White Glove or Curbside): 7–14 business days after processing — our carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment
Total estimated delivery time: 4–9 business days for standard items, or 8–16 business days for large furniture items.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur during peak shopping seasons, holidays, or due to carrier disruptions beyond our control.
Shipping Carriers
We ship using trusted national carriers including UPS, FedEx, and regional freight carriers for large furniture. The carrier used depends on the size and weight of your order and your delivery location.
Shipping Region
We currently ship to the continental United States only. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other US territories, or to international addresses.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive an email containing your tracking number and a link to track your shipment in real time. If you have not received a tracking email within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us at reachus@homefurnitureandcarpet.com.
Large Furniture Delivery
Large furniture items (sofas, sectionals, and similar large items) are delivered via freight carrier. Delivery options may include:
- Curbside Delivery: The carrier delivers to the curb or threshold of your home. Assembly and inside placement are not included.
- White Glove Delivery: Available on select items — includes inside delivery, room of choice placement, and basic assembly. Where available, this will be noted in the product description.
For curbside deliveries, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or if items are missing, please:
- Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing (if applicable)
- Take photos of the damaged packaging and items
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at reachus@homefurnitureandcarpet.com with your order number and photos
We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

We want you to love your furniture. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return process.
30-Day Return Window
You may return most items within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund. Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- In their original condition — unused and without damage caused after delivery
- In the original packaging where possible, or securely repacked to prevent shipping damage
- All components included — hardware, cushions, and accessories that came with the item must be present
Items that have been assembled and used are eligible for return if they are in resalable condition and returned within the 30-day window. Heavily used, damaged, or modified items are not eligible for return.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Items damaged after delivery due to customer misuse or modification
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Custom or made-to-order items (if applicable, this will be noted in the product description)
How to Initiate a Return

- Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with return instructions and a prepaid return shipping label (for eligible returns)
- Securely pack the item and affix the return label
- Drop off the package at the designated carrier location
Return Shipping Costs
For standard returns (change of mind, not the right fit), we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Return shipping for large furniture items may require freight pickup scheduling, which we will coordinate.
If the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we cover all return shipping costs and process a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your card issuer or bank, the credit may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear on your statement.
You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different product, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order for the replacement.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

Restocking Fees
Home Furniture & Carpet does not charge any restocking fees. If you return an item within our 30-day window in its original condition and packaging, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price with no deductions. We believe in a simple, honest returns process.
